Golden Pearls (Encapsulated Larval Feed)
Golden
Pearls is a complete range of micro encapsulated diets for shrimp larvae. The
Golden Pearls range is processed following a revolutionary technology which
involves a new micro-encapsulation technique for smallest particles (5-50 mm)
and an innovative agglomeration of micro-encapsulated particles to produce
larger particles (50-100 mm , 100-200 mm , 200-300 mm 300-500 mm). The technology for the
production of these particles results in a highly palatable and digestible
diet that mimics the highly digestible Artemia. It is this factor that makes it
possible to replace greatly live feed component of the young shrimp larvae and
makes it suitable for the early weaning and developmental stages of marine
shrimp post larvae.

Ingredients:
Fish proteins and other marine proteins, purified fish oils,
phospholipids, astaxanthin, vitamins and protected minerals, antioxidants,
immunostimulants.
Process:
1.Mixing, grinding, encapsulation,
drying = smallest sizes (5-50 mm)
2.Agglomeration or granulation, sifting = larger particles (50-100 mm , 100-200 mm , 200-300 mm 300-500 mm).
Packaging:
The smallest size is packed in 400 grams cans and other sizes in 500 grams metal easy-open cans. All cans contain an oxygen absorber. Storage Store in a cool dry place (15 deg C, max 25 deg C). Once opened Golden Pearls should be closed well and stored in a dry place.
Instructions for use:
Stir gently in water the required quantity before feeding to shrimp larval tank. Feed 4 to 6 times per day. In order to reach an optimal substitution of Artemia with the use of Golden Pearls, automatic feeders are recommended for continuous feeding.

Quantities mentioned per product or column are indicative and the total amount to be fed is not necessarily the sum of all products for a given larval stage. As a rule of thumb the following substitution rate can be applied: 250000 - 300000 Artemia nauplii are substituted by 1 gram of Golden Pearls
·
optimal buoyancy:
maximum availability for larvae and less pollution of the tanks. As feed cannot
always be siphoned from the bottom, do not overfeed!
·
highly digestible
thanks to: a unique agglomeration
technique: produced at room and atmospheric pressure keeps the protein intact.
·
use of fresh, top
quality ingredients
·
highly palatable:
preference for Golden Pearls even if Artemia is present
·
much less need for
Artemia: up to 80% reduction!
·
Cost effective: of

·
Cheaper fry
production: less labor, space and energy needed
